How To Claim A Club Record

Individual Club Records can be submitted at any time, not just during competitions. Applicants must be current financial members at the time the fish is captured.
For Club Records, fish can be measured and recorded using any suitable scales and a brag mat. Records must be witnessed and fish must be taken in QLD waters (including Tweed).
For State and National Records, fish must be weighed on certified calibrated scales. Calibrated scales are available at:
Keesh’s – Mooloolah Valley
Rhys’s – Palmview
Ben’s – Buderim
Matt – Dive Cave
Your local butcher or fishmonger may also have suitable calibrated scales
Fish should be entered within 30 days of capture unless otherwise agreed by the Competition Committee.
The Club Records Officer reserves the right to reject an entry where there are significant errors, inconsistencies or inaccuracies in the submission.
For any questions about Club, State or National Records, please speak with Keesh.

(Note: Fish not caught in monthly club competitions must be photographed on scales. With the pic easily identifying the fish and showing the weight clearly. Any use of any other scales besides the ones used by the club. Must either provide a pic of proof of current certification eg calibration sticker/letter or the scales in question need to be tested against one of the Club’s certified scales)
