Founded in 2020, Sunshine Coast Skindivers has grown into a thriving community of more than 100 active members who share a passion for the ocean, responsible fishing and underwater adventure.
Whether youāre just starting out or youāre an experienced spearo, SCS is a great place to meet like-minded divers, build your skills and get involved in safe, sustainable diving across Queensland.

From first-time spearos to experienced divers, Sunshine Coast Skindivers is built on community, safety and a shared respect for the ocean.
Membership for All
Whether youāre new to the sport or have years of experience, SCS encourages divers of all backgrounds to get involved. Juniors, women, beginners and advanced spearos are all welcomed into a supportive club environment.
Community Events
Members can take part in social competitions (run monthly), club dive days and trips that bring the community together while encouraging safe, responsible and sustainable spearfishing.
Bi-Monthly Club Meetings
The club holds bi-monthly meetings where members can catch up, share stories, learn from one another and stay connected with upcoming events, trips and club activities.
