Questions & Answers

Does the fee cover the club competition?

At this stage the fee is for the accommodation only, the competition fee will get announced separately and be paid a lot closer to the date.

What day will be the competition?

At the stage we plan to run the competition on the Sunday. This will also double as our scheduled club competition.

If I go do I need to compete?

No there is no requirement to compete. It will just be a great fun weekend with the squad.

How do I get there?

You will need to organise your own transport (whether by boat or taking the ferry with a 4WD). We would suggest getting a group together with a boat owner and going with them. Some people may want to just come for the competition day.

The MBBC huts are booked out, where should I stay?

You will need to organise a camp site at one of the other locations on the island. We would suggest booking this in advance. More information here:

The MBBC huts that the club has booked are located at Cowan. We would suggest booking the closest camping areas which would be, North West camping zone, Comboyuro Point, Ben-Ewa or The Wrecks.

What facilities will are at the cabins?

The cabins have showers, fresh water and toilets.

What do I need to bring?

Please make sure to bring everything you would normally on an Island camping weekend: Sleeping bags, shelter (if not staying at the huts), Food, Water, etc

Where is the comp held?

The sign on and off is usually held on the beach in front of the MBBC cabins.
